Returns at a Glance

  • 30 days from delivery to request a return
  • Items must be unused, sealed, and in original packaging
  • All returns sent to our Brisbane HQ warehouse
  • Faulty or incorrect items covered under Australian Consumer Law

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Be sealed in original, undamaged packaging
  • Include all original accessories and documentation

Non-Returnable Items

  • Items that have been installed, used, or modified
  • Items returned after 30 days (unless faulty)
  • Items with damaged or missing packaging
  • Special order or custom parts (unless faulty)

How to Return

  1. Submit a return request via our Returns Request page
  2. Enter your order number and email address
  3. Select the items you wish to return and provide a reason
  4. Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days
  5. If approved, you will receive return instructions by email
  6. Send the item to our Brisbane HQ warehouse as instructed

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, contact us immediately. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless of our standard returns window. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

Return Shipping Costs

For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. For faulty or incorrect items, GearTrail will cover return shipping.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
